Is Classic Sudoku Master free to play?
Yes — Classic Sudoku Master is completely free to download and play on both Android and iOS. The app is supported by optional ads which can appear between games.
How many puzzles are available?
Classic Sudoku Master generates puzzles algorithmically, so you have an essentially infinite supply of unique puzzles across all five difficulty levels. You will never see the same puzzle twice.
What is Notes mode?
Notes mode lets you write small candidate numbers inside a cell — just like pencil marks on paper. Toggle it with the pencil button, then tap numbers to add or remove candidates.
Can I save my progress and continue later?
Yes. Your current game is automatically saved. Just tap "Continue Game" on the home screen to pick up exactly where you left off.
What is the difference between difficulty levels?
Each level reduces starting clues and hints: Easy (40 clues, 5 hints) → Medium (32, 4) → Hard (26, 3) → Expert (22, 2) → Evil (17, 1). Higher difficulties also require more advanced solving techniques. Evil mode is extremely challenging — only for the most dedicated solvers!
Does the game work offline?
Yes — all puzzles are generated on-device. You can play Classic Sudoku Master without any internet connection.
